William Hill have today seen a substantial & sustained gamble on Gianfranco Zola to be the next Premiership manager to get the boot. This morning Hills were quoting 5/1 but during the course of the day they have cut the price five times before suspending at 2:35, with one London based customer looking to place a five figure bet.
"They were backing Zola at any price and there must be a rumour that either he is walking or the likely new owners are not Zola fans," said Hill`s spokesman Rupert Adams.
