'Martinez Out' Odds Collapse
Roberto Martinez has been backed from 16/1 to 2/1 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club with William Hill who make Steve Kean 11/10 favourite with Steve Bruce at 11/4; Mick McCarthy 5/1; Owen Coyle 6/1.
'Given Martinez' decision to stay with Wigan rather than go to Villa last season we have never felt he was under much pressure despite adverse results, but of course, it is always possible that he may decide to walk away should results not improve soon' said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'So when punters began to back him to be the next boss to go we had to act.'
Hills make Martinez 5/6 to be Wigan boss on the first day of next season, 5/6 not to.
NEW Doncaster signing El Hadji-Diouf is 2/1 with William Hill to be sent off during his three month stint at the club.
(Bets run until Jan 31, 2012 and are for 1st team competitive games only)
