Spurs just 6/4 to be top team in London

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR are just 6/4 with Ladbrokes to be the top London club this season.

Harry Redknapp's in-form team are only marginal second favourites in the bookies' 'Top London club' betting behind Chelsea at 6/5 whilst rivals Arsenal are 11/4 chances.

Spurs can also be backed at 11/5 to complete a famous double over Arsenal this term and Wenger's men are also fancied to see off Chelsea in the Emirates fixture at 11/8. Newly promoted QPR are 10/1 to register the second leg of what would be a legendary double over West London rivals Chelsea.

Chelsea remain the shortest priced London club in the title betting at 14/1 as Spurs see their odds of glory slashed to 33/1 and it's also now odds-on at 4/5 that they finish inside the Champions League places.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Spurs have turned their bad start around and punters are now banking on them collecting three points every week."

She added: "At this rate they could be the only London side in the Champions League next year which would be a turn up for the books."
