O'Neill favourite for Black Cats
MARTIN O'NEILL is the favourite to become the next Sunderland manager according to Ladbrokes.
O'Neill is top of the market at 1/3 to replace sacked boss Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes is second favourite at 7/2.
Other runners in-line to take over the helm at the Stadium of Light include Rafa Benitez (8/1), Carlo Ancelotti (12/1) and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (16/1).
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "It was always a case of when and not if with Steve Bruce's future and O'Neill's track record speaks volumes with our punters."
