Martinez 7/2 to be next managerial casualty

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has been cut to 7/2 (from 9/1) by Sky Bet to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job after seeing his side slump to their ninth league defeat of the season.
The Latics are 1/3 favourites to be relegated after suffering a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal to leave them bottom of the table.
A four-goal haul from Yakubu ensured Lancashire rivals Blackburn temporarily eased the pressure on their manager Steve Kean with a 4-2 win over
Swansea, but their under-fire boss remains even-money favourite to lose his job next.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle saw his 10-man side suffer a 3-0 reverse at Tottenham, and consequently he has come in to 5/1 (from 9/1) to be the next top-flight chief to receive his P45.
In more promising managerial news, Sunderland confirmed the appointment of Martin O'Neill and the Black Cats are 21/20 to beat Wolves with their new manager in the stands on Super Sunday.
Sky Bet football trader Mike Triffitt said: "Now is the time of year where clubs at the bottom start getting twitchy and the managerial casualties can start to stack up.
"Sunderland have brought Martin O'Neill in ahead of the busy festive period and I wouldn't be surprised if others do the same with the January transfer window looming large."
