Would be sad I think if Coyle got the boot. I maintain he's a decent manager and I don't really understand why he's come so spectacularly unstuck this season.
The way it's going they're both going to gone by Feb at the latest.

As for Owen Coyle, it would be a shame for him to go, he probably will be a great manager in the future and is just having a blip at the moment. It wouldn't be a kneejerk reaction for Gartside to get rid of him though.
Tonight's match could be make or break for both men

I see bet365 are offering 1/4 goal to Bolton at 21/20. I'll have a bit of that. Wanderers were worse than awful away to Fulham at the weekend, but then Blackburn were just as bad losing at home to WBA and crucially creating very few chances. For me it's a pick 'em so any start to Bolton is generous.

This from today's Times: "Kean's future was not discussed during a 45-minute telephone conversation with his employers on Sunday."
In other words, it was.
The article continues: "But Venky's are understood to be increasingly concerned about the threat to Blackburn's Premier League status and a special board meeting will take place tomorrow, when not even victory against Bolton may be enough to save Kean."
I would say if Blackburn don't beat Bolton, Kean has a very decent chance of being sacked in that meeting.
As for Coyle, if Bolton lose that'll be 8 defeats out of 9, and I think the chairman could look at the gap at the bottom of the table and panic.

Looks like Ed The Head's 7/2 of either him or Coyle not being in place by Boxing Day is looking verrrrrry nice indeed ;)
