Rooney Favourite To Wear Captain's Armband V Moldova
Wayne Rooney is the 7-4 favourite with Coral to captain England in their opening 2014 World Cup qualifier against Moldova next September, with current skipper, John Terry, the 5-2 second favourite.
"Plenty could happen between now and September 7th, not least the appointment of a new England manager, but at this stage, we favour Wayne Rooney, who if available, is likely to be the first name on the team-sheet," reckoned Coral's David Stevens.
