Giggs 12/1 to take over from Ferguson

RYAN GIGGS is 12/1 with Ladbrokes to take over directly from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

The bookies have reacted to the news that the current manager has tipped his evergreen midfielder as a potential suitor for his replacement, and it's a bigger 16/1 that Giggs takes over as a player/manager at any time.

Should Giggs get the job at any time then a trophy looks more than likely in his first season at the helm at 4/7.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Despite his status at the club we still feel there are managers with more experience who would jump at the chance of taking over from Fergie. As and when Giggs does get the job the usual run of trophies looks set to continue."
