Italian Serie A football betting - Parma vs AC Milan

A few weeks ago, it seemed as if the Serie A title race could have only one outcome. Inter held a double-digit points lead over their rivals, with whom they share a stadium, and looked certain to win the league for the fifth consecutive year. However, a run of only three wins in Inter`s last nine games has seen Milan draw closer and closer and now only one point separates the two giants of Italian football. With the Champions League no longer a concern, Leonardo has a great chance of winning Serie A in his first season as a manager.
The visitors have been made favourites for tonight`s game at 4/5 (bet £50 to win £40 profit), leaving Parma as underdogs at 4/1 with the draw at 5/2. Both teams are in similar form and Milan have two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five away matches. Parma`s record is the same in their last five home games but they can also draw on momentum gained through back-to-back wins in their last two.
The bookmakers have made a 1-0 win for Milan the favourite score for the game at 6/1, slightly ahead of a 1-1 draw at 13/2, with a 2-0 away win available at 15/2. A 0-0 draw is on offer at 10/1 with Stan James and a surprise 1-0 win for Parma has been priced at 11/1 with Bet1128.
Marco Borriello has been made favourite to open the scoring tonight at 5/1, followed by Ronaldinho, who is generally available at 11/2. Huntelaar and Filipo Inzaghi are both at the same price with Bet365. Alberto Paloschi is seen as Parma`s best hope of scoring the game`s first goal at 8/1, although the Italian striker has found the net only four times in seventeen appearances this season.
Milan are 15/8 with Coral to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and are generally available at 7/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time. Coral are also best price on both halves ending in a draw, offering 5/1, and Parma are 17/2 to be winning at both the interval and the final whistle. Draw/Parma is available at 10/1 with Bet365.
The Rossoneri have clawed their way back into the title race and are now 9/4 to win Serie A this year.
