AC Milan travel to Rome today as they bid to continue their push to win the Serie A for the first time since 2005. After putting together a good sequence of results Milan are only four points behind Jose Mourinho`s Inter. If Milan beat Roma, they will be only one point behind Inter, with the champions playing against Genoa tomorrow.
Both teams are in fantastic form, with Roma having won seven of their last eight matches, and Milan with four domestic wins on the trot. Roma`s home advantage makes them narrow favourites, and they are at 11/8 (bet £80 to make £110 profit) to win the match with Skybet. Milan are priced at a generous 9/4 with Stan James. The draw is also at 9/4.
The favourite scoreline for the match is a 1-1 draw, which is at 6/1 with Betfair. 1-0 and 2-1 wins for Roma are at 15/2 and 17/2 respectively, and a 1-0 win for Milan is also at 17/2. Paddy Power offer 10/1 on a 2-0 Roma win, and a 0-0 stalemate is at 11/1.
On the half time / full time market, the favourite spot is Roma / Roma, which is priced at 3/1 with Coral. Draw / draw is generally available at 4/1, and draw / Roma is at 9/2. Milan / Milan is a 5/1 shot with Bet365, and draw / Milan is at 6/1.
Roma`s talismanic forward Francesco Totti is the favourite to open the scoring, priced at 6/1 with Ladbrokes. Luca Toni and Alexandre Pato are also at 6/1, while Mirko Vucinic is at 13/2 with Betfred. Ronaldinho and Klass-Jan Huntelaar are both at 7/1, and David Beckham is at 16/1.
Despite Milan having closed the gap on Inter, the Nerazzuri are still massive favourites to claim the Serie A title, priced at 1/4 with Betfair. Coral offer 11/2 on Milan, and Roma are at 12/1 with Totesport.
