Premier League: Aston Villa vs Manchester United Odds and Betting Preview

VILLA PARK, BIRMINGHAM - 2nd-placed Manchester United take their unbeaten league campaign to Villa Park this Satuday lunchtime to face 10th-placed Aston Villa, and the Red Devils are best-priced at 17/20 with Blue Square to pick up their second away win of the season. Aston Villa won their first home league game since September in midweek against Blackpool and they are 4/1 with Victor Chandler and Sky Bet to make it two home wins in a row. You can back the draw at 13/5 with Victor Chandler.
Manchester United are unbeaten in twelve league games but of six away games, they`ve only won one. They`ve given away four leads away from home and it is 50/1 with Paddy Power that Manchester United lead at half-time but lose the game, or 16/1 that United lead at half-time but drawn the game.
Villa have the second best home defence in the league but United have the second best away attack, and the Red Devils have conceded an uncharacteristic eight goals on the road. Over 2.5 goals is 11/10 with Ladbrokes while under 2.5 goals is best with Bet365 at 17/20.
United managed to keep a clean sheet on Wednesday in the Manchester derby against City, but mainly due to playing 4-5-1, and they are likely to play 4-4-2 against Villa with Hernandez and Berbatov up front. Both teams to score is 10/11 with William Hill.
Villa had a dreadful record against United - until the last few seasons. The last two games between the two at Villa Park have been draws, and it is best-priced at 10/1 with Betfair for a 0-0 scoreline, repeating the 2008 score, or 7/1 with Betfair for a repeat of last season`s 1-1 score. But pre-2008, United had won an astonishing 8 of the past 9 games at Villa Park, while before Villa`s shock win at Old Trafford last season, you have to go back to 1995 to find a Villa win in this fixture.
Before their defensive horror show on Wednesday at home to Blackpool when they conceded two, Villa had kept clean sheets at home to Chelsea and Birmingham City, and it is 7/2 with Betfred for a Villa clean sheet, and 11/8 with Ladbrokes for a United one.
Berbatov hasn`t scored since his hatrick against Liverpool in September, but is 13/8 to score anytime vs Villa, with Boylesports. Agbonlahor could return for Villa and is11/4 to score with Paddy Power while Nani, who is in fine goalscoring form, is 13/5 with Paddy Power to score.
