Manchester United 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers: Final Score and Betting Result

OLD TRAFFORD, MANCHESTER - Park Ji-Sung hit a last minute winner to give Manchester United a win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, a game for which United were 1/4 (bet £40 to win £10) favourites to win before kick-off. The draw was 11/2 before the match and it looked to be heading that way after Wolves` Sylvain Ebanks-Blake had scored a second half equaliser to rule out Park Ji-Sung`s first half opener for United.
United had drawn their first league game at home in 16 games last month at home to West Bromwich Albion 2-2, having won the previous 15 games at home. Park prevented a second home league draw in three games however with the injury-time winner having opened the scoring himself with a right-foot finish. Park was 10/1 to open the scoring.
The win was United`s fourth game in their last five to go over 2.5 goals, which was 7/10 to happen before kick-off.
With Chelsea and Arsenal both losing over the weekend, United are now only two points off top spot in second place, two points ahead of Arsenal and three points ahead of Manchester City. United are now best-priced at 4/1 to win the title with Betfair, behind 7/10 favourites Chelsea (with Totesport).
Wolves are left in 19th place on nine points, two points above bottom-placed West Ham. Mick McCarthy`s men secured an impressive win over Manchester City last weekend, but that was an anomaly in what has otherwise been a poor start to the season, having won only one other game, back in August. Wolves are 10/11 to be relegated with Paddy Power and Sky Bet, while you can back them to stay up at 10/11 with Totesport.
Manchester United`s next game is the Manchester derby away to City on Wednesday, while Wolves host Arsenal on Wednesday night at Molineux.
