OLD TRAFFORD, MANCHESTER - Manchester United won 2-0 on Saturday evening to beat Tottenham Hotspur for the 19th time in the past 23 meetings between the two sides. United were priced at 8/13 (bet £13 to win £8) to win the game before kick-off and they went ahead in the first half thanks to a Nemanja Vidic header. Then after Spurs failed to break United down in the second half, Nani sealed the win with a freak goal, nicking the ball off Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes after referee Mark Clattenburg had failed to spot a blatant handball by the Portuguese winger.
Manchester United travel to Turkey on Tuesday to face Bursaspor in the Champions League before hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers at home in the league next Saturday. Spurs host Inter Milan at the Lane on Tuesday before travelling to Bolton on Saturday.
Manchester United are best-priced at 9/2 with Stan James to win the Premier League while Spurs are 13/5 with Coral to finish in the top four.
