Premier League football betting - Tottenham vs Bolton

Tottenham look to keep the pressure on their rivals in the race for fourth place as they face Bolton at White Hart Lane in the Premier League. Spurs currently hold the coveted position but they are level on points with Aston Villa and only one clear of Manchester City. Bolton, however, have little left to play for this season after avoiding relegation and Wanderers can finish no higher than their current fourteenth place.
The hosts are strong favourites for the game at 2/7 (bet £70 to win £20 profit), leaving Bolton as big underdogs at 11/1, with the draw at 5/1 with Victor Chandler. Although Spurs have lost three of their last five games, Sir Alex Ferguson recently described it as `championship form` after watching them record back-to-back wins over Arsenal and Chelsea. They will definitely believe, despite their recent defeat, that they can overcome a side with only one win in their last six.
The bookmakers have made a 2-0 win for Spurs the favourite score for the game at 6/1, followed by 1-0 at 7/1 with Victor Chandler and 3-0 at 15/2. A 1-1 draw is available at 11/1, with 0-0 at 16/1 and a shock 1-0 win for Bolton is as long as 25/1 with Paddy Power.
Jermaine Defoe has been made favourite to open the scoring today at 3/1, followed by Roman Pavlyuchenko at 7/2 and England World Cup hopeful Peter Crouch at 9/2. Kevin Davies and Ivan Klasnic are seen as Bolton`s best hope of breaking the deadlock and the pair, who have thirteen goals between them this season, are both at 12/1.
Tottenham are 4/5 with Extrabet to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 7/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time. The bookmakers offer 9/1 that both halves end in a draw and Boylesports are best price, offering 28/1, that Bolton win after leading at half-time. Draw/Bolton is available at the same price with Coral.
Spurs are favourites to hold on this season and finish in the top four, with the bookmakers offering 10/11.
