Premier League football betting - Chelsea vs Bolton

The Premier League title is now Chelsea`s to lose after rivals Manchester United`s scoreless draw at Blackburn at the weekend. The Blues won at Old Trafford last weekend and now need to take advantage of United`s dropped points by taking all three today as they host Bolton at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will be high in confidence after their 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday and know that they if they play to their best they should have no problems overcoming a Bolton side who currently sit as low as fifteenth in the table, only five points clear of the relegation zone.
Carlo Ancelotti`s side are very strong favourites for the game at 1/6 (bet £60 to win £10 profit), leaving Bolton as underdogs as long as 20/1 with the draw at 7/1 with Bet365. Bolton have found wins difficult to come by this season but have been particularly ineffective away from home, winning just once in their last thirteen attempts and losing nine. Their hosts, however, have been lethal at home, winning fourteen of their sixteen matches in the Premier League this term.
The bookmakers believe a comfortable home win is the most likely outcome tonight and have made a 2-0 win for Chelsea the favourite score for the game at 6/1 with Victor Chandler, with 3-0 generally available at 13/2 and a less convincing 1-0 win at 8/1, also with Victor Chandler. A 1-1 draw is as long as 16/1 with Canbet going 27/1 that the game finishes 0-0. A shock 1-0 win for Bolton, which would completely change the face of the title race, is 50/1 with Paddy Power.
Didier Drogba, who has scored thirty-two goals this season and opened the scoring at Wembley on Saturday, is 11/4 favourite with Bet365 to do it again tonight, followed by Nicholas Anelka at 4/1. Bet365 are also top price on Frank Lampard, who has five in his last three games, at 9/2. Bolton`s best hope of scoring the game`s first goal is seen to be Ivan Klasnic and the Croatian striker is available at 14/1.
Chelsea are 8/15 with Paddy Power to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 4/1 to win the match after drawing at half-time. The bookmakers offer 12/1 that both halves end in a draw and Bolton are 45/1 with Paddy Power to be winning at both the interval and the final whistle. Draw/Bolton is generally available at 40/1.
Tonight`s hosts now clear favourites to win the Premier League this season and the bookmakers are taking no chances, offering only 3/10 on the West London club.
