English Premiership betting - Bolton vs Manchester United

The race for the Premiership is hotting up, and at present Manchester United are in the driving seat to claim the title for a fifth time in a row. However, both Chelsea and Arsenal will have something to say about that, and United`s lead is a slender one, only one point ahead of Chelsea and two ahead of Arsenal.
Bolton are eight points clear of the drop zone but are still not totally safe, with three very tough games coming up. After United they host Aston Villa, before they travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea, and it would not surprise many people were they to come out of these matches without any points.
Sir Alex Ferguson`s side are favourites to win the match, priced at 4/9 (bet £90 to make £40 profit). Bolton are at 15/2 with Totesport, while you can back the draw at 4/1 with Betfair. United have beaten Bolton on nine of the last ten occasions that the two sides have played, with the exception being a 1-0 Bolton win in 2007.
A 2-0 win for the Red Devils is the favourite scoreline, priced at 6/1 with Skybet, and a 1-0 win is at 13/2 with Ladbrokes. Scorelines with United keeping a clean sheet look like the best bet, as Bolton have failed to score in seven of their last ten, and Man Utd have kept a clean sheet in five of their last ten. 3-0 and 4-0 wins for United are at 11/1 and 19/1 respectively, and a 1-1 draw is at 9/1. A goalless draw is at 15/1 and a 1-0 Bolton win is priced at 21/1.
On the half time / full time market, United / United is obviously the favourite spot, priced at evens with Coral, followed by draw / United which is at 7/2. Draw / draw is a 7/1 shot with Coral, and Bolton / Bolton is at 18/1 with Victor Chandler.
Wayne Rooney has scored 26 league goals so far this season, and does not look like stopping any time soon. Of these 26, 12 have been the first goal scored, and the 11/4 available for him to score first seems fair. Dimitar Berbatov is next most likely to score the opener, priced at 9/2 with Skybet. Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs and Nani are all at 10/1, and Bolton`s best hopes are Kevin Davies and Ivan Klasnic, who are both at 11/1.
United are now priced at evens to win the title, while Chelsea are at 5/2 with Bet365 and Arsenal are at 11/4 with Coral. Bolton are priced at 14/1 to go down to the Championship.
