Arsenal travel to Stoke this evening in the Premier League hoping to keep alive their slim hopes of overhauling Chelsea and Manchester United in the race for the title. The gunners are currently third in the league, five points behind United with a game in hand and six behind Chelsea. However, to close the gap they will have to face a Stoke side that beat them 3-1 at the Britannia Stadium only a month ago.
The Gunners are favourites going into the match at 3/4  (bet £40 to win £30 profit) with Canbet, leaving Stoke as home underdogs at 9/2. Arsenal seem to have recovered some of their form recently, beating Liverpool and Sunderland 1-0 and 2-0 in their last two matches after losing to both Chelsea and Manchester United. Stoke are now unbeaten in eleven matches in all competitions, beating Manchester City 3-1 in their last match. The draw is priced at 11/4 and Stoke have also drawn four of their last seven.
The bookmakers have made a 1-1 draw the most likely score for the match at 13/2 and three of Stoke`s last five matches have ended this way. Next most likely is 1-0 to Arsenal at 7/1 with Canbet, with 2-0 generally available at the same price. A 0-0 draw is available at 11/1 and a surprise 1-0 home win as 13/1. A repeat of Stoke`s 3-1 win earlier this season is priced at 51/1 with Canbet.
Nicholas Bendtner and Cesc Fabregas are joint-favourites to open the scoring tonight at 6/1, followed by Andrei Arshavin at 13/2 with Betfred and Eduardo at the same price with Coral. Carlos Vela is 15/2 with Skybet . Ricardo Fuller is seen as Stoke`s best chance of scoring the first goal, priced at 17/2 with Bet365.
Arsenal are 9/5 with Victor Chandler to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 7/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time, with Coral offering 11/2 that both halves end in a draw. Stoke are 11/1 with Victor Chandler to be winning at the end of each half and are generally available at the same price to win after drawing at half-time.
Arsene Wenger`s side are now solid third favourites for the Premier League at 7/1 with Coral.
