Manchester City travel to the Brittania Stadium tonight, as they continue their quest for fourth place and Champions League football. If they win tonight they will leapfrog Liverpool into fourth place, and will still have a game in hand.
Unusually, City are odds against for the match, but are still favourites, priced at 7/5 (bet £50 to make £70 profit). Stoke are priced at 23/10 with Boyle Sports, and the draw is at 12/5 with Sky Bet.
A 1-1 draw is the favourite scoreline, priced at 6/1, and a 1-0 City win is at 7/1. A goalless draw is at 17/2, a 1-0 win for Stoke is at 9/1. A 2-1 City win is at 11/1 with Betfair, and a 2-0 win is at 12/1. A 2-1 Stoke win is at 12/1, and a 2-2 draw is at 16/1.
On the half time / full time market, City / City is the favourite spot, priced at 10/3. Draw / draw is at 4/1, draw / City and Stoke / Stoke are both at 5/1.
City will be missing Carlos Tevez, who has returned to Argentina for family reasons, as well as Craig Bellamy and Vincent Kompany who are injured. Emmanuel Adebayor is the favourite to open the scoring, priced at 11/2. Roque Santa Cruz and Ricardo Fuller are both at 13/2, and Sanli Tuncay and James Beattie are both at 8/1. Mohammed Sidibe is at 9/1, and City`a new signing Adam Johnson is at 11/1.
