Premier League football - Hull City vs Chelsea

Chelsea travel to Hull today in the Premier League hoping to extend their current one-point lead over Manchester United at the top of the table. The visitors have been in excellent form of late, winning each of their last six games, and look set to continue that run against a Hull City side who have failed to win any of their last nine matches, sitting nineteen in the league table.
The Blues are favourites for the match today at 2/7 (bet £70 to win £20 profit) after their winning run, leaving Hull as big underdogs as long as 14/1. The draw is available at 9/2, but while Hull have drawn three of their last four matches their opponents have recorded only three draws in their twenty-three games all season.
The bookmakers seem to believe a comfortable win for the visitors is on the cards and have made a 2-0 win the favourite score for the match at 11/2, ahead of 1-0 at 13/2. Last time the sides met was on the opening day of the season and Chelsea won 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. A repeat of that score is available at 17/2. A 1-1 draw is at 10/1 and 0-0 is 16/1, with a shock 1-0 win for Hull priced at 22/1.
Didier Drogba, Chelsea`s leading scorer this season, has returned from the African Cup of Nations and has been made favourite to open the scoring tonight at 10/3, very slightly ahead of his strike partner Nicholas Anelka, who is at 7/2. England midfielder Frank Lampard is available at 11/2 and Saloman Kalou, also returning from Angola, is at 6/1. Hull`s best chances of scoring the first goal today are Jozy Altidore and Amir Zaki, both at 12/1.
Chelsea are available at 4/5 to be winning at both half-time and full-time and 7/2 to win after drawing at the interval. The bookmakers offer 15/2 that both halves are drawn and Hull City are 33/1 to lead at the end of both halves and the same price to win after the scores are level at half-time.
Carlo Ancelotti`s side are now strong favourites to win the Premier League this season at 8/13 and a win tonight would put them four points ahead of Manchester United and eight points clear of Arsenal.
