English Premier League football betting - Sunderland vs Liverpool

Liverpool travel to Sunderland, hoping to do better than current champions Manchester United, who could only manage a draw against them.
Liverpool are 10/11 favourites for the match, with Sunderland at 7/2. The draw is at 5/2.
Sunderland’s strike partnership has been prolific this season with Darren Bent grabbing seven league goals and Kenwyne Jones bagging five. Bent is 7/1 to open the scoring and Jones is 9/1. The favourite is naturally Liverpool’s Spanish striker Fernando Torres who is at 4/1. El Nino leads the scoring chart with eight goals in as many games. Liverpool’s talismanic captain Steven Gerrard is next at 6/1, with Dirk Kuyt and Andriy Voronin at 7/1 and 15/2.
The last six times these two sides have met have ended in a Liverpool win but the bookies expect a closer contest this time, with the favourite score a 1-1 draw at 13/2. A 1-0 win for Rafa Benitez’s side is at 7/1, whilst 2-1 and 2-0 are both at 8/1.
The Merseyside team are 2/1 to be winning at half time and full time, with draw / Liverpool at 4/1. Draw / Draw is at 5/1, and Sunderland / Sunderland is at 8/1.
Liverpool are 9/1 to win the league, having already lost three games, and have drifted to 1/3 to finish in the top four. Sunderland are 11/1 to finish in the top six.
