Current league leaders Chelsea travel to Villa Park in this weekend’s early kick off. Chelsea currently have 21 points from eight games and will be looking for a win to stay top of the table.
Chelsea are 10/11 (bet $110 to make $100 profit) favourites for the match, whilst Villa are at 7/2. The draw is at 13/5.
Chelsea’s Ivorian striker Didier Drogba is favourite to open the scoring at 5/1, following the Blues’ French forward Nicolas Anelka at 11/2. Saloman Kalou and Frank Lampard are next at 8/1, whilst Villa’s best hope is Gabriel Agbonlahor at 9/1. Drogba has scored six goals so far in the league, whilst Agbonlahor has 4.
Chelsea are 2/1 to be winning at half time and full time and draw / Chelsea is at 7/2. Draw / draw is priced at 5/1, and Villa / Villa is at 15/2.
Following a poor start to the season Villa are now in seventh place and the bookies expect a tight match, and a 1-1 draw is the favourite result at 6/1. A 1-0 Chelsea win is at 7/1, whilst Carlo Ancelotti’s men are at 8/1 to win 2-1 or 2-0. A 0-0 stalemate is at 10/1.
Chelsea are favourites to lift the Premiership trophy at 6/4, whilst Martin O’Neill’s men are 2/1 to finish in the top six.
