LONDON, UK - Harry Redknapp's in-form Tottenham side host Queens Park Rangers in the only Premiership game on Sunday. Spurs have won five of their last six matches, and currently sit in fifth place, only three points behind Chelsea, who they have two games in hand of. Neil Warnok's QPR picked up a huge win last weekend with a 1-0 victory over nine-man Chelsea, so they will come into this match full of confidence.
Spurs have only lost against Manchester City at home this season, and are rated as comfortable favourites for the match, best priced at 2/5 with Paddy Power. QPR are available at a general 8/1 to gain three points, and the draw is at 4/1 with Stan James.
On the correct score market, a 2-0 win for Spurs is the favourite result, best priced at 13/2 with Bet365, while a 1-0 win for the London side is generally available at 7/1. Spurs are 8/1 with betinternet to win 2-1, and a 1-1 draw is at 9/1 with Victor Chandler. A 3-0 win for Spurs is also at 9/1, this time with Ladbrokes, and a 3-1 win is at 11/1 with Paddy Power. QPR's best hope is a 2-1 win, which is a top-priced 28/1 with Boylesports.
In the half time / full time market, Spurs / Spurs is the favourite spot, priced at evens with Paddy Power. Draw / Spurs is the next most likely, at a general 10/3, while draw / draw is best priced at 15/2 with Victor Chandler. QPR are at 18/1 with Boylesports to be winning at half time and full time, and both sides are 22/1 with Victor Chandler to be winning at half time, but for the match to end in a draw.
Emmanuel Adebayor has been a revelation since joining Spurs on loan from Man City, and is the favourite to open the scoring tomorrow, priced at a general 4/1. Jermain Defoe might not start, but is a 9/2 chance to net the opener, while Rafael van der Vaart, who has been on fire recently, is likely to start, and is a 5/1 shot with Blue Square to break the deadlock. Roman Pavlyuchenko is at 11/2 with 888sport, and Gareth Bale is 8/1 with Paddy Power. QPR's best chance is Jay Bothroyd, who is an 11/1 shot with Blue Square.
Spurs will be gunning to get back into the Champions League this season, and are currently disputing favouritism with Liverpool for the fourth spot. Both are available at 11/8 with Bet365 to get a chance of glory next season. QPR have different aims for the season, and will probably be content with playing Premiership football next season. They are fancied to avoid the drop, and are 7/2 shots with Stan James to go down this season.
