Premier League: Liverpool v Queens Park Rangers Odds and Betting Preview

LIVERPOOL, UK - Neil Warnock’s QPR side travel to Liverpool this afternoon, but look to have a stiff task against the Reds, who are unbeaten at Anfield this season in the Premier League.
QPR have been hard to predict on their travels this season, but the bookmakers still expect Liverpool to secure three points in front of their home fans at 4/11 with Paddy Power. A stalemate can be backed at 9/2 with Victor Chandler, and QPR are at 10/1 with Coral and Betfred to grab a famous victory.
Liverpool’s eleven match unbeaten run was ended at Craven Cottage last weekend after a Clint Dempsey late goal was enough to secure a 1-0 victory for the hosts. Kenny Dalglish’s men should bounce back with a comfortable victory here but the Reds have been disappointing at home drawing their last four games in front of the Kop. Liverpool will be without Jay Spearing who begins his three-game ban following Monday’s red card and the talismanic Steven Gerrard is still missing so Jordan Henderson should move into a role in central midfield.
QPR have won only one of their twenty league visits to Anfield and their face a difficult test here against a side that has only conceded 13 goals all season. Neil Warnock is without his first choice keeper as Paddy Kenny is still out with a thigh strain but he has a strong midfield combination that will trouble the hosts.
In the Over/Under, over 2.5 goals is 4/6 with Betfred whilst under the same margin is a standout 13/10 with Victor Chandler. Any punters who predict the game will be settled by a single strike can back under 1.5 goals at 7/2 with William Hill.
Liverpool/Liverpool is 3/4 with Victor Chandler and Draw/Liverpool is 7/2 with betinternet in the Half-time/Full-time betting. A draw at the end of both halves is an industry best at 15/2 with Coral whilst QPR/QPR is available at 25/1 at Boylesports.
In the Correct Score market William Hill quote 13/2 on a 1-0 victory for the hosts and are a standout 11/2 on a two-nil victory for Liverpool. A 0-0 bore draw is 16/1 at Blue Square whilst QPR are 25/1 to win by a single goal.
Luiz Suarez has been installed as the 7/2 favourite at Coral to score the game’s opening goal whilst teammate Andy Carroll is a general 4/1 chance in this market. Craig Bellamy is 11/2 with Coral and the influential Dirk Kuyt is 7/1 at Victor Chandler. The most prominent player for QPR is Heidar Helguson a 16/1 shot with bet365.
This match kicks off at 15.00 on Saturday 10th December.
