Premier League: Everton vs Swansea Odds and Betting Preview

LIVERPOOL, UK - Everton host Swansea on Wednesday night as they hope to pick themselves up after failing to win any of their last three matches. David Moyes' side have been disappointing this season, and they currently sit in fourteenth place in the Premier League. Swansea, however, have surprised many so far, and are twelfth at this stage, having been the 4/7 favourites to be relegated at the beginning of the season.
The Toffees have a slim chance of joining the top half of the table should they win tonight, and the bookmakers make them favourites to do so, with Paddy Power offering a best price of 8/13 on them to win the game. Swansea are not in the best of form themselves, having won only one of their last five, but the 6/1 offered by Victor Chandler on them winning the game seems like good value nevertheless. The same firm offer a standout 3/1 on the match being a draw.
In the correct score market, 1-0 and 2-0 wins are the joint favourite results, both available at 6/1 with Betfred, while a 1-1 draw can be backed at 7/1 with William Hill. Everton are a 15/2 chance with the same firm to win the match 2-1, and a goalless draw is offered at 10/1 by Stan James. Swansea's best hope is a 1-0 win, which is a top priced 14/1 with Bet365, and a 2-2 draw is a general 20/1 shot.
Everton / Everton is the favourite spot on the half time / full time market, priced at 6/4 with Paddy Power, while draw / Everton is a 7/2 shot with Ladbrokes. Draw / draw is a 5/1 shot, and Swansea / Swansea is at 12/1 with Boylesports. Draw / Swansea is priced at 14/1 with Bet365, and both sides are 20/1 with Stan James to be winning at half time and drawing at full time.
Everton frontman Louis Saha is rated as the most likely to break the deadlock tonight, priced at a general 9/2. Tim Cahill is next in the betting, with supersub Apostolos Vellios a 6/1 shot with Paddy Power. Youngster Conor McAleny is at 7/1 with Paddy Power, and former Real Madrid winger Royston Drenthe is at 9/1 with Coral. Swansea's most likely man is Danny Graham, who is at 10/1 with Victor Chandler.
Swansea are seen as the bookmakers as likely to stay up this season, and they are general 5/2 shots to be playing Championship football next season. Everton are 28/1 with Coral to go down this season, which seems more than fair considering that they are only four points above the relegation zone at the moment. It also seems probable that they will lose Jack Rodwell in January, and with their seeming lack of funds, they may not be able to buy the striker that they desperately need.
The match kicks off at 2000 GMT tonight.
