Wimbledon betting update: Wednesday 23 June

Roger Federer`s brush will elimination against Alejandro Falla has not put punters off the world number two and he remains favourite for Wimbledon this year, with Bodog offering the top price of 15/8 (bet £8 to win $15 profit).

After losing in the Australian Open final in January, Murray will be eager to open his account, but performances so far this year indicate that he may have to wait a while longer before he is in the same class as Federer and Nadal.

Another who will fancy his chances is Andy Roddick, last year`s beaten finalist, at 11/1 with Totesport. On grass, Roddick is a real threat to anyone and, while he disappointed at Queen`s, the American will surely be too good for Michael Llodra, his opponent in the next round.

An interesting outsider that might attract some betting is Queen`s winner Sam Querrey. The American was 40/1 to win at Baron`s Court and he cannot be overlooked at 50/1 to provide a surprise triumph.

Today`s action gets under way at 1 p.m. BST, with Andy Roddick and Michael Llodra opening the play on Centre Court.
