Wimbledon betting update: Wednesday 23 June

Roger Federer`s brush will elimination against Alejandro Falla has not put punters off the world number two and he remains favourite for Wimbledon this year, with Bodog offering the top price of 15/8 (bet £8 to win $15 profit).
The Swiss champion has won the tournament six times and he faces Ilija Bolozjac this afternoon on Court One. Federer is 1/50 with Sportingbet and William Hill, while his opponent is 20/1 with Betfred and Bet365 to go even further than Falla and cause a shock upset.
Rafael Nadal beat Federer in the 2008 final, thought by many to be the greatest match of all time, and he is 21/10 with Bet1128 to win what would only be his second title. The Spaniard breezed past Kei Nishikori in the first round and is fancied to beat Robin Haase in the next, priced at only 1/25 to come though unscathed.
Britain`s current crop of talent put in their worst ever performance in the first round but Andy Murray did make it through, and the Scot is 15/2 to win his first ever Grand Slam. After losing in the Australian Open final in January, Murray will be eager to open his account, but performances so far this year indicate that he may have to wait a while longer before he is in the same class as Federer and Nadal.
Another who will fancy his chances is Andy Roddick, last year`s beaten finalist, at 11/1 with Totesport. On grass, Roddick is a real threat to anyone and, while he disappointed at Queen`s, the American will surely be too good for Michael Llodra, his opponent in the next round.
An interesting outsider that might attract some betting is Queen`s winner Sam Querrey. The American was 40/1 to win at Baron`s Court and he cannot be overlooked at 50/1 to provide a surprise triumph.
Today`s action gets under way at 1 p.m. BST, with Andy Roddick and Michael Llodra opening the play on Centre Court.
