AMSTERDAM: Ajax earned a creditable 1-1 draw in the Ukraine in the first leg of this tie to hand them the advantage in the final round of qualification for the Champions League. They are expected to be too strong for their opponents at home tonight, with Stan James, William Hill and Betfred making them favourites at 5/6 (bet £60 to win £50 profit) for the match. Kiev are 7/2 with Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Sky Bet, with the draw available at 11/4 with William Hill.
Tonight`s match is 8/11 with Sky Bet to finish over 2.5 goals as bookmakers predict a more high-scoring affair than the first leg. Under 2.5 total goals is 6/5 with Coral, while over 3.5 is available at 7/4 with most bookmakers.
Another 1-1 draw has been made the favourite score for the game, with William Hill top price at 7/1. William Hill also have the best odds on 1-0 to Ajax at 8/1, 2-0 to Ajax at 9/1, and 0-0 at 14/1. A surprise 1-0 win for Dynamo is 12/1 with Bet 365, with 2-0 at 25/1 with Sky Bet.
Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, who scored an incredible 49 goals in all competitions last season, is 9/2 favourite with Bodog and Betfred to open the scoring tonight, followed by Mounir El Hamdaoui at 11/2 with Betfred and Victor Chandler. Former Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko is 15/2 and he has already scored six times in nine league appearances this season.
Ajax are 2/1 with Stan James, Blue Square and 888 Sport to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 4/1 with Paddy Power and Extrabet to win the match after drawing at half-time. 10Bet go 11/2 that both halves are drawn, with draw/Dynamo available at 9/1 with Paddy Power and Sky Bet.
Neither side looks likely to go too far in the Champions League this season, with Ajax available at 189/1 on Betfair, where you can back Dynamo Kiev at 409/1.
