Manchester United travel to Italy tonight in a mouth-watering clash that sees former United star David Beckham face his former club for the first time. United have lost to Milan on all four occasions that the two have met in a two-legged clash, and Sir Alex Ferguson will be eager to get revenge against the team who tore United apart three years ago.
The Red Devils are the favourites for the match, priced at 13/8 (bet £80 to make £130 profit). Milan are at 2/1, and the draw is at 11/5. As well as being favourites for the match, United are heavy favourites for the tie, and are priced at 1/2 to qualify from the tie. Milan are 13/8 with Bet Fred.
The match is expected to be tight, and the favourite scoreline is a 1-1 draw, priced at 11/2. A goalless draw is at 7/1, and a 1-0 win for either team is at the same price. A 2-1 win is at 10/1 for United and 11/1 for Milan. Both teams are at 12/1 for a 2-0 win.
Draw / draw is the favourite spot on the half time / full time market, priced at 4/1, as is United / United. Milan / Milan is at 9/2. Both teams are at 9/2 to be drawing at half time and winning at full time. Milan / draw and United / draw are both at 16/1.
English striker Wayne Rooney has been on fire recently, with seven goals in his last five games. He is the 11/2 favourite to score first, and his propensity to rise to the big occasion makes this look like good value. Brazilian duo Pato and Ronaldinho are both at 7/1, and Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen are both 15/2 shots. Pippo Inzaghi is at 8/1 with Sky Bet, and David Beckham is 16/1 with Coral.
Man Utd are fourth favourites to win the tournament, priced at 9/1. Milan are at 25/1 to win the flagship European competition for an eighth time.
