UEFA Champions League betting - FC Barcelona vs Internazionale

Defending champions Barcelona continue the defence of their Champions League crown tonight as they play host to Jose Mourinho`s Internazionale. Neither team is in great form with both winning only two of their previous five game in all competitions. Barcelona slipped to second in La Liga after drawing 1-1 with Athletic Bibao in their last match while Inter overcame a resilient Bologna side to remain top of Serie A by five points.
The hosts are favourites for the match at 4/5 (bet $50 to win $40 profit), leaving Inter as underdogs at 9/2. Last time the sides met was in Milan in September and the away side probably had the better of a tense 0-0 draw but it will be much harder to keep the reigning European Champions at bay on their own turf.
A 1-1 draw has been made the favourite result for the match at 6/1, showing that the bookmakers think that the teams are of a similar quality. Next most likely is a 1-0 home win at 13/2, followed closely by 2-0 at 7/1. Another 0-0 draw, a result Barcelona have recorded twice in their last four European outings, is priced at 10/1 and a 1-0 win for Inter is at 14/1.
Due to injuries to top-scorers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry is favourite to open the scoring tonight at 6/1. The Frenchman has been at the centre of a media storm recently after he handled the ball twice in the build-up to a goal that eliminated Ireland from the the World Cup. Dubbed `Le Cheat`, his reputation has suffered immensely and he can expect a very hostile reception from the away fans. Next most likely to open the scoring is Bojan, at 7/1, ahead of Inter`s best chance of scoring the first goal, Samuel Eto`o, at 15/2. Eto`o returns to his old club tonight and the Carmeroonian, who scored for Barcelona in last season`s final, will be looking to deal their hopes of qualifying a serious blow.
Barcelona are 9/5 to be winning at both half-time and full-time tonight and 7/2 to win at full-time after drawing at half-time. Both halves to be draw is priced at 4/1 and Inter/Inter is 10/1. Barcelona are 28/1 to be winning at the final whistle after trailing at the interval.
The men from the Camp Nou are joint-favourites for the Champions league this season alongside Chelsea at 9/2. Inter are not rated as highly but are in with a good chance at 12/1.
