Uefa Champions league football betting - Rangers vs Sevilla

Rangers host Sevilla tonight in the Champions league group stage. The home side`s last European outing was a creditable 1-1 draw at Stuttgart, while Sevilla comfortably overcame Unirea Urziceni 2-0 at home. The Spanish side are in excellent domestic form, winning five of their last six league games including the last four in a row. In contrast to this, Rangers have not won a league match in September and have drawn their last three games 0-0.
Looking at that form, it is easy to see why Sevilla are favourites for the match at 21/20. Rangers are priced at 11/4 and the draw is 5/2.
The bookies seem to think this will be a tight match, and 1-1 is the most likely scoreline at 6/1. Next is a 1-0 Sevilla win at 13/2 and a 2-1 is 8/1. Also 8/1 is another 0-0 draw for Rangers. A 1-0 home win is 9/1 and a 2-0 win is 20/1.
The visitor`s Kanoute and Luis Fabiano are joint-favourites to open the scoring at 5/1, followed by team-mate Alvaro Negredo, on loan from Real Madrid. Kris Boyd is the most likely Rangers player to do the honours, at 8/1 ahead of Kenny Miller at 15/2.
The Spanish side to be winning at both half-time and full-time is priced at 14/5 and is the favourite half-time/full-time scenario. Next is draw/draw at 4/1. Rangers/Rangers is 6/1 and Rangers/draw is 12/1.
Rangers are underdogs in this game and are not in the best form, but the good result at Stuttgart and home advantage could give them a lift that will be necessary against a strong Sevilla side.
