World Cup 2010: Uruguay v Holland Correct Score Odds

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - Holland, unbeaten in their last 24 internationals, are heavy favourites in the betting to reach the 2010 World Cup final at the expense of Uruguay tonight. Punters were hugely impressed with their 2-1 comeback win against the Brazilians in the quarter-finals, meaning that plenty will be more than happy to take Stan James` 1/3 about the Dutch qualifying from the tie and thus eliminating the last remaining South American side from the competition.
Bettors wishing to cash-in on the World Cup may prefer to seek bigger odds in the correct score market, rather than back Holland to win the match in 90 minutes at 4/6 (bet £60 to win £40 profit) with Coral and Paddy Power.
On paper the two sides meeting in Cape Town tonight seem all flair - Arjen Robben dribbling down the wing at any opportunity, Robin van Persie banging in the goals, Wesley Sneijder pulling the strings from the heart of midfield. But even with Nigel de Jong suspended tonight, both William Hill and Coral are expecting a tight low-scoring game by offering punters just 4/7 that there are under 2.5 total match goals within the 90 minute period.
Uruguay will have to make do without Luis Suarez in attack, who has been a revelation for La Celeste - not just for his reflex saves in the goalmouth. Diego Forlan is in cracking form for the South American outfit and proved against Ghana that he is also a threat from set pieces.
The favourite scoreline is 1-0 at 6/1 with Bet 365, but pessimists are entitled to grab a piece of the bore draw (0-0) at 7/1 with Sky Bet. However your local bookie is unlikely to remind you that backing `no goalscorer` at 15/2 in the first goalscorer market is a safer bet as it still stands if the only goals in the game are own goals.
A 2-0 win for Holland is 6/1 with Ladbrokes, who go 7/1 about a 2-1 victory for Bert van Marwijk`s men.
3-0 and 3-1 wins for The Flying Dutchmen are 14/1 and 16/1 respectively with Blue Square - the same bookmaker that offered the top price of 16/1 that the Dutch would beat Brazil 2-1 last week. 1-1 is a popular fancy for draw-backers at 13/2 with Sky Bet, but 2-2 is much less likely at 25/1.
It does not take a betting expert to know that Uruguay are the underdogs, but there has been bits and pieces of money this morning for a 1-0 shock at 10/1. 2-0 for Forlan`s side is nigh on impossible at 33/1.
