World Cup 2010 betting - Paraguay vs Spain first goalscorer betting

David Villa has been made favourite to add to his current total of four goals at this summer`s World Cup by opening the scoring today against Paraguay in the quarter-finals.
The newly-signed Barcelona forward is 3/1 (bet £10 to win £30 profit) with most bookmakers and he has been easily the top performer for his side so far in South Africa.
Villa is followed in the betting by Liverpool`s Fernando Torres. Torres has been criticised recently and looks rusty after his injury lay-off. However, he is sure to find his form at some point and is 5/1 with Betfred and Totesport to break the deadlock today.
Against Portugal in the last round, Torres was replaced by Fernando Llorente, who made an immediate impact with his contribution towards the opening goal. Llorente is 11/1 on Betfair to do the honours himself today.
The biggest threats to the European Champions are seen to be Roque Santa Cruz and Oscar Cardozo, who are both available at 14/1 after decent showings so far in the tournament.
The match kicks-off at 7.30 pm BST.
