Brazil Top Goalscorer betting odds

Luis Fabiano has been made favourite to finish the World Cup as Brazil`s top goalscorer at 4/6 (bet £60 to win £40 profit) with Ladbrokes after scoring twice in the competition so far, with both goals coming in his side`s 3-1 win over the Ivory Coast.
He is followed by Elano, who also has two so far and is 2/1 to outscore his team-mates this summer. The former Manchester City midfielder has been getting forward at every opportunity and, like much of the Brazil side, is very experienced at International level, with 45 caps.
However, Robinho, despite being two year`s Elano`s junior, has 76 caps, and has hit 21 goals in that time. Now playing for Santos, Robinho scored five times in ten starts and although he is yet to score at the tournament, he has looked very dangerous in every game. A 6/1 with Bodog, he may attract some interest from punters willing to take on Fabiano.
Another who is yet to find the net in South Africa is Nilmar, and although he plays as a striker he is not a goalscorer in the same way as Fabiano is. He is 9/1 with Bodog to outscore his strike partner but as he is not guaranteed to feature in every game, punters looking for outsiders may choose to look elsewhere.
In the top goalscorer market, penalty takers are always important and Kaka is the man from the spot for the five-time winners. Always keen to get forward, the former Ballon d`Or winner is 14/1 with Ladbrokes and Bodog but he will need Brazil to go a long way in the competition if he is to keep up with the leaders.
Brazil face Chile tonight in the last sixteen and they will be looking justify their standing as favourites for the tournament, priced at 7/2 on Betfair, slightly ahead of rivals Argentina at 4/1.
