World Cup 2010 - Brazil vs Portugal betting preview

Portugal will go into their final group match against Brazil high in confidence on the back of their 7-0 humiliation of North Korea but they cannot afford to be complacent against the World Cup favourites.
Brazil have won both their opening games and while they were far from convincing against the North Koreans, the performance they put in against a strong Ivory Coast side showed that they are the real deal.
The five-time winners are 13/10 (bet £10 to win £130 profit) with Coral to win tomorrow, leaving Portugal as underdogs at 3/1 and the draw at 12/5, both with Extrabet.
The last time the sides met was in 2008 and Brazil were ruthless in victory, thrashing their opponents 6-2, with Luis Fabiano scoring a hat-trick.
Fabiano is favourite to open the scoring today at 11/2, ahead of the incredible Cristiano Ronaldo at 6/1. Ronaldo scored the final goal against North Korea, while Fabiano`s brace against the Ivory Coast has seen him installed as third-favourite, at 5/1, to win the Golden Boot at the tournament.
Brazil are 3/1 to lead today at both half-time and full-time and 9/2 to win after drawing at the interval. Draw/draw is 4/1 with Canbet and Portugal/Portugal is 13/2 with most bookmakers.
Dunga`s style of football, which employs two holding midfielders, is not all that popular in Brazil but has been getting results and we may not see the goalfest some may expect from this game. Extrabet offer 19/20 that it finishes under 2.5 total goals, with Canbet going 27/20 that it finishes over.
Brazil are now favourites at 4/1 for the World Cup, while Portugal are 20/1 with Coral and Sportingbet.
