World Cup betting - South Africa vs Uruguay

The hosts of the 2010 World Cup play their second game this evening as they face Uruguay in Group A. The visitors are favourites for the game, however, at 29/20 (bet £20 to win £29 profit) with Canbet, leaving South Africa as underdogs at 5/2 with Bet365, with the draw at 9/4 with Boylesports.
Both sides have proved hard to beat recently, with South Africa unbeaten in as many as seventeen games, admittedly against mostly poor opposition. Uruguay have faced tougher opponents but have not lost in their last five, winning five of their last eight.
The bookmakers have made 1-1 the joint-favourite score for the game at 11/2, along with 1-0 to Uruguay. South Africa drew with Mexico in their opening game, while Uruguay drew 0-0 with France. Another goalless affair tonight is 6/1 across the board.
Uruguay are 7/2 with Ladbrokes to lead at both half-time and full-time and generally 9/2 to win after drawing at half-time. The bookmakers offer 7/2 that both halves are drawn and South Africa/South Africa is 11/2 with William Hill and Victor Chandler.
Neither side is given much hope of lifting the trophy this year, with both around 150/1. However, they have every chance of going through to the next round after their performance in their opening games, and neither can afford to lose tonight.
