Follow all the action as Spain face Switzerland below. We will bring you live updates on the game and the odds from every bookmaker and market:
16.57 pmThanks for joining us, and I hope you didn`t have too much money on Spain.
16.55 pm: Wow. Switzerland with one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history. Very defensive tactics, as with many underdogs at this World Cup, possibly drawing inspiration from Inter`s tactics while winning the Champions League. Spain have drifted to 6/1 now with Betdaq to win the World Cup, and Brazil replace them as favourites at 5/1.
Full-time: Spain 0-1 Switzerland
95.02: Spain are applying all the pressure they can and there is just no way through. 7/1 on the draw with the bookies.
92.48: It looks like Spain will join France, England and Italy in disappointing in their opening game. Not a bad performance, but it would be only the first time in 39 games that they have failed to score.
91.02: 2/7 that we finish 1-1 here. However, there are five minutes of injury time and that will encourage a flagging Spain side. 139/1 now available on Spain.
88.43: Very poor touch from Torres, who looked clean through. Signs of rust after his long injury lay-off, and the draw is now 4/1 with Totesport.
86.22: For anyone who fancies a comeback Spain are 27/1 and rising fast on Betfair.
84.00: Switzerland hit 1/2 on Betfair and they are on the cusp of a monumental shock. 1-1 is 5/2 on the exchange.
82:40: Switzerland having a go now and they could be two or three up. Spain have had 21 shots in this game and are yet to score. In my book, by far the best game of the tournament so far.
80.04: Anything could happen here but Spain need something soon. Over 2.5 goals is 5/1 on Betfair and the men in red and blue will be hoping they can make it happen.
78.20: Navas is looking a real threat and so are Spain. His shot flies wide as the draw goes to 2/1 with Canbet and Bet365.
74.11: What a game! Switzerland denied by the post after wonderful dribbling by Derdiyok. Great effort from the Leverkusen striker and Spain could have been in serious trouble there. 11/2 now available on the European Champions on Betfair.
71.40: Cracking run from Navas who hits it into the keeper`s chest. I`m not sure how long Switzerland can withstand this kind of pressure, as good as they have been defensively.
70.32: Alonso slams the ball against the bar from the edge of the area. Outstanding strike, but Spain still denied their equaliser.
69.19: Torres looks to bend it into the top corner but he curls it high and wide. Immediate impact from both subs, but Switzerland are looking increasingly dangerous on the brea. The underdogs are now 5/4 on Betfair.
66.09: Spain are looking to get the ball out wide and they have had some joy in that area. The next goal is 11/2 to come from a header with Bet365 and 16/1 to come from a free-kick.
64.20: Iniesta shoots just, just wide after beating the keeper all ends up. 1-1 is 2/1 and 2-1 is 9/2, both on Betfair. A more convincing 3-1 is 15/1 with Betinternet as Spain go as long as 11/4 with Betfred.
62.08: Jesus Navas and Fernando Torres both on at the expense on Busqets and Silva. Hopefully they can create some clear-cut chances as Spain have failed to get in behind their opponents today.
59.16: Ramos heads over from a Xavi corner and it looks like Torres will be on shortly. The draw is now 9/5 on Betfair.
57.03: Villa has a crack but it`s straight at the keeper. 8/5 on Betfair that it finishes over 2.5 goals and Spain will really have to force the issue.
54.33: We were wondering when the goal would come but it hadn`t crossed many people`s minds that it could come for Switzerland on what is only their third real attack of the game. 2-1 to Spin is 4/1 on Betfair.
Spain 0-1 Switzerland
51.23: GOAL: SHOCKING!!: Spain go behind as Gelson Fernandes scrambles it in after a good block from Pique. This should liven the game up and Spain are now 11/5 with Totepsort. Switzerland 2/1 with Paddy Power, with the draw at 4/1 with the same firm.
49.10: Villa still favourite to score the first goal at 3/1 with Bet365. Alonso has a dig and it`s deflected over for a corner.
46.07: Spain have a corner and they get a lot of bodies in the box. It looks like they have bit more urgency about them now as look to finally open the scoring. 4/1 now available on the raw with Paddy Power, while 0-0 is now 7/2 on Betfair.
15.49 pm: At half-time, Spain are 9/20 with Boylesports to win today, while their opponents are as long as 18/1 with Betfred. The draw is 12/5 with Bet365.
Half-time: Spain 0-0 Switzerland
45.40: Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas will be eager to come on and help their team, who can`t get the ball in the net despite completely dominating.
45.05: Iniesta hits a shot over the bar after a nice move and he`ll want to blame that on the ball. The 1st goal time is now being bought at 69 and sold at 67 with Sportingindex.
41.20: Spain have had 68% of the possession but haven`t broken this deadlock yet against a very organised Switzerland side. The draw is 3/1 with Bet365 and Totesport but surely Spain will eventually find a way through?
37.50: Switzerland break and almost look dangerous before Behrami`s cross is blocked. The resulting corner comes to nothing and it is now 3/1 on Betfair that we see more than 2.5 goals in this one.
34.37: Villa almost scores but the cross just goes over his head. Decent cross from Xabi Alonso though, as 1-0 to Spain goes to 13/5 on Betfair.
33.19: Boylesports and 888sport make it 5/2 that Spain can make their dominance count shortly and get in front before half-time and stay there. Draw/Spain is 6/5 with Ladbrokes and Bet365. The men in red a blue really are running rings around Switzerland.
31.55: Villa slams it into the wall and it goes out for a corner. Spain are now 4/11 with Betfair.
29.50: Iniesta is fouled just outside the box. Free-kick in a dangerous area.
27.11: Shot on target for Switzerland now as the game gets more lively, but from about twenty-five yards they will need to do better to really stretch Casillas.
24.47: Great chance for Pique after some lovely footwork from the centre-back-cum striker, who hit 3 goals in qualifying. Saved well by Benaglio in the Switzerland goal. 0-0 shortens further to 13/2 with Stan James as time goes by without a breakthrough.
21.50: Sportingindex are selling total goals at 2.35 and buying them at 2.15, looking at the spread markets. They sell time of first goal at 54, buying at 51.
19.30: A 1-0 Spain win is now the favourite score, at 4/1 on Betfair. They are still playing all the football as Switzerland chase shadows.
17.33: Shot from Silva as Spain get closer. If they game keeps going this way it`s only a matter of time. Sergio Ramos also has a go, but his effort goes right when he probably should have crossed.
16.19: Pique floats a pass out left and his team tease the Swiss with a series of effortless passing. Switzerland keep their shape, however, and 0-0 is now only 7/1 with Totesport.
13.30: Free kick for Spain and it`s taken short, but Alonso loses it. Ladbrokes offer 9/4 on draw/Spain.
11.45: Spain now 11/10 to lead at both the interval and the final whistle. They have enjoyed most of the possession, unsurprisingly, and look dangerous without any real urgency. It`s 19/2 on Betfair that the game finishes 0-0.
08.50: Corner for Switzerland but it doesn`t clear the first man,and Spain look to break, but Villa`s touch is heavy. The draw is still 9/2, but only with Ladbrokes, and it`s now 4/6 that the game finishes Under 2.5 goals.
04.30: Spain are passing it very well, as we expected, and making it look fairly easy. No real danger yet, and they are now 3/10 on Betfair.
03.15: 1-0 and 2-0 to Spain are the joint-favourite scores for the game on Betfair, with 3-0 at 15/2.
02.08: Spain typically composed in the opening stages. Good movement and pressing.
15.00: We`re under way.
14.57: David Villa, playing as a lone striker, is favourite to open the scoring at 3/1 with Stan James and Betfred. Torres, who is on the bench, is 4/1, but those who backed can take consolation from the fact that you will be refunded if he comes on after the first goal has been scored.
14.53: We may finally see a few goals today. The World Cup so far has disappointed but Betfair makes it only 6/5 that the game finishes over 2.5 goals. Spain are 17/20 with Extrabet to lead at both half-time and full-time.
